Nice location On the terrace, Regional food, good price and spectacular view. Most of the staff only speaks Italian, but there is always someone around that speaks english
After interesting visit to Monastery Santa Maria with its 1000 year history we had lunch outdoors at this restaurant beside the church on the bank of the river. In the large outdoor area, appearing to be well patronized by local people lingering over food and company, we had a most memorable meal, Padellate di Mare , a two (or more) person dish, mostly shellfish, with other seafood. Food was unpretentious and perfectly cooked They really 'nailed ' it, the fresh seafood taste tantalizing the taste buds. There was nothing fancy about the table settings, but the food dominated. Our server was on the opposite end of the intrusive side but she got the job done and had a certain offhand charm. The drinkable house wine comes by the carafe. The food and relaxed atmosphere evoked the best about Italy.
