The food at this restaurant is excellent, with generous portions. There is a wide selection of Tequila options, and Nicole was very knowledgeable about the different choices. We had a very enjoyable evening.
The food was tasty, but a bit overpriced ($10 for two tacos, $21 for steak fajitas, and $6 for a draft beer). It appears that they raised their prices for Cinco de Mayo to capitalize on the holiday. I have never spent $85 on a meal for two adults and two kids at a Mexican restaurant before. The service was not great—I had finished my entire meal before receiving my second beer. Additionally, the smokers on the outside patio made our dining experience unpleasant. I probably won't return to this restaurant.
The food at this restaurant was excellent, and the drinks were mostly good. However, the service was terrible. We ordered the restaurant's version of a NY Sour, which is supposed to be served with a port wine float. The drink was served without this important ingredient and tasted terrible as a result. When we tried to ask our server for a new drink, she was nowhere to be found. We then went to the bartender, who told us they had run out of port but assured us that the drink is usually great with all the ingredients. I requested a beer instead. When the bill came, both the beer and the incomplete drink were listed. I pointed this out to the server, who spoke to the bartender and removed the drink charge. I was surprised that the beer charge was not removed as well, considering they served a drink missing a key ingredient. The service was disappointing, especially since the restaurant was not busy at all. There were only a few tables in the whole place, so the ratio of customers to staff was low.
Nice atmosphere. Food was above average. The 3 salsas were excellent. Service a tad slow but glad we weren't rushed.
Octopus starter amazing, grouper also loved, duck tacos too swet and too wet pleasant but could have been much better, flan a real let down over thick with artificial raspberry sauce. Very dark inside and outside was next to hotel parking lot with idling team bus. Service very good, would happily return.
