My meal, the 22 Wilson, was a delightful mountain of smoked meat and cheese, complemented by fries and gravy. I also got a side of poutine, which is honestly the best I've ever had. On my second visit, I tried the burnt ends sandwich with plain fries, and I chose to keep the fries simple because they were just that good. The owner even stopped by our table to offer us a taste of their ribs. Our server was incredibly attentive; she insisted that we should bake our leftovers in the oven instead of reheating them in the microwave. I can't recommend this place highly enough!
This restaurant is fantastic! If you're planning to visit any fast food joints in town for a quick meal or to save a few dollars, pause for a moment and consider stopping by The Pit. You won't regret it. The food is outstanding, the prices are very reasonable, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Plus, you'll be supporting a local business rather than lining the pockets of yet another big corporation.
Hubby told me it was good but.....WOW!!!! yes, there are the regular chains right there as well snore but if you want to treat your taste buds try ' the pit '!!!!! the minute we walked in, we were greeted warmly by all the staff. the atmosphere was light, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. i mean, that might have been some of the best smoked meat i 've ever had. i 'm not joking. our table also enjoyed the poutine and the ' schmoe ', both also declared excellent. the service was very fast, almost as quick as your typical sandwich place. we were in and out in just over half an hour fully satisified. don 't miss ' the pit '! we 'll be back. : thank you.

My brother said this place was awesome. It certainly was. Great service and even better food. I have the Wilson 22 and would recommend it to anybody, but come with an appetite
