The owner is incredibly kind and humorous, and truly stands out as the best aspect of the place. I really appreciate their gluten-free buns, which pair well with any of their BBQ meats. I'm also happy that they offer gluten-free poutine – it's absolutely delicious. I feel confident in their understanding of cross-contamination and their efforts to prevent it. We'll definitely be returning soon!

They use a dedicated cutting board for gluten-free items and offer gluten-free buns and bread on their menu. All the meats are gluten-free, except for the ribs, which are brushed with beer. Additionally, the barbecue sauce they use is gluten-free as well.

I also got a side of poutine, which is honestly the best I've ever had. On my second visit, I tried the burnt ends sandwich with plain fries, and I chose to keep the fries simple because they were just that good. The owner even stopped by our table to offer us a taste of their ribs. Our server was incredibly attentive; she insisted that we should bake our leftovers in the oven instead of reheating them in the microwave. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

If you're planning to visit any fast food joints in town for a quick meal or to save a few dollars, pause for a moment and consider stopping by The Pit. You won't regret it. The food is outstanding, the prices are very reasonable, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Plus, you'll be supporting a local business rather than lining the pockets of yet another big corporation.
