The place was dirty and the staff were rude from the outset, tutting and eyerolling throughout, gossiping rather than serving, and when you do get served its always late without a smile, never again.

The goods: We just had crumpets tea cakes; both were hot tasty Good cappuccino We could get a seat (on a Sunday morning everywhere else was full or closed) Staff were very young but ok The not so goods: Table was mucky crumby Very run down, it looked quite scruffy dirty Overall, I would say this is very much a workers’ cafe, so good if you’re in your scruffs. Not a place I would visit again though. Sorry

Not very welcoming. Nobody came to serve us and it wasn’t clear if there was table service. Went up to order in the end. Had to ask to have our table cleaned. Lady next to us cleaned her own. Food arrived and was very good. Staff very polite and friendly when they served us.

This small restaurant in the village center offers a variety of items, but could use a more welcoming atmosphere. The staff is not very friendly or engaging. In fact, my ex-wife is warmer than they are, and she's as cold as a corpse.

If you're looking for a spot to indulge in a classic English breakfast on a lazy Sunday morning, this restaurant is ideal. The service is prompt, making it easy to get your hands on a steaming cup of tea. Overall, it's hard to fault anything about this place.
