This small restaurant in the village center offers a variety of items, but could use a more welcoming atmosphere. The staff is not very friendly or engaging. In fact, my ex-wife is warmer than they are, and she's as cold as a corpse.
If you're looking for a spot to indulge in a classic English breakfast on a lazy Sunday morning, this restaurant is ideal. The service is prompt, making it easy to get your hands on a steaming cup of tea. Overall, it's hard to fault anything about this place.
I took my sons and our dog for a walk and we decided to have breakfast at this restaurant. The menu had a variety of delicious options and our plates were filled with generous portions. In general, it was excellent value for the price.
I have enjoyed breakfast at this restaurant several times and it is always cooked perfectly. The café is small with around 6 or 7 tables, but we have never had trouble finding a seat. Today, we ordered 2 large breakfasts, 1 regular breakfast, a cup of tea, a Lucozade, and fresh orange juice, all for approximately £21. The meals were all brought out at the same time, with the fried eggs perfectly cooked and runny, the black pudding not overdone or dry like in many other places, and the sausages were delicious. The staff were friendly and this restaurant is a must-visit for breakfast.
