The staff were welcoming, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food exceeded our expectations. My partner tried rag pudding for the first time and it was amazing, served with mushy peas and homemade chunky chips. We enjoyed our meal so much that we returned the following night. I had a meatball marinara panini and my partner had sausage and mash, both dishes were delicious. We finished off our meal with an Aperol spritz. We can't wait to come back again.

The menu was impressive, offering something for everyone's tastes. The service was top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their delicious and generously portioned meals. Overall, I would highly recommend The Clarence to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.

The food, service, portion sizes, prices, waiting times, atmosphere, and overall appearance of the pub were all fantastic. We were extremely happy with our experience and the team members (Lewis, Naomi, Izzy, James) went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The restaurant is incredibly dog-friendly and we had no complaints whatsoever. Unfortunately, we didn't take many photos during our visits as we were too busy enjoying the delicious food.

He recommended the Rag pudding (which I’ve never had before) . It was absolutely delicious. The food and service was so good that we came again the following evening and were not disappointed. Many thanks to all the staff who were very efficient, and lastly but not least the chef who produced some of the most amazing dishes we’ve ever had.
