We visited a restaurant tonight only to find they were sold out! This was the first time that’s ever happened to us, and we’re regular customers. No worries, though—the ultimate burger was delicious, and I really enjoyed the baked bark. It was a great change from the carvery! I’m only deducting one star because it was very, very dark inside.

A few months ago, we went out for lunch with a group of four. Everyone ordered from a large menu that offered a wide selection of dishes. The portion sizes were generous, which is something I really appreciate. It's refreshing to pay around £10 to £12 for a meal and actually feel satisfied afterward. Keep up the great work, Bridgewater! I will definitely be returning in the future.

We are giving a 5-star review for our Christmas Eve visit. The starters were delightful, and the main Christmas dinner featured the traditional three meats with extra festive vegetables, which were all very enjoyable. The staff were incredibly accommodating, even offering a tour for a family member who couldn't participate due to medical reasons. Even on a typical day, dining here is always a pleasure. There is ample parking space, and I've never had trouble finding a spot. The restrooms are consistently clean and well-maintained. Additionally, there is a recently fenced-in smoking area at the back, ensuring that smokers don't have to walk through the main dining area to get to the parking lot.

The cheese pie is back, and it's delicious! You've definitely made it back onto our 'frequent visit' list! The service was fantastic, especially the server behind the counter.

The experience wasn't great for a car enthusiast. I've been to better places for vegetarian options, which were quite unappealing, much like the lager. I would recommend sticking to bottled beers here. There's a pub down the road with better food and beer.
