We had an amazing Valentine's dinner at Rioja. We were overwhelmed by the delicious options on the menu so we ended up ordering more than we could eat, but we didn't regret it. The meal was beautiful! We are looking forward to the end of lockdown so we can visit the restaurant for a sit-down dinner. Stay safe!
The dishes were overflowing and all cooked perfectly. The takeaway was fantastic, especially when paired with homemade sangria! It had been a few years since we last visited, as we felt the quality had declined, but now it's back to being top-notch.
Well all I can say is amazing. All the Boyfriend wanted for his birthday tea was tapas and this did not disappoint us. We drove 25 minutes to get it and even with the 25 minute drive home food was still piping hot when we got home. Staff were so friendly even in this pandemic. We will be back for sure. Thank you.

Just got through our New Years Eve takeaway. Food was absolutely delicious. Nothing was left. Thank you very much for the complimentary dishes as well. Really recommend this place.

Beautiful place! greeted by a dame called pam such a warm welcome! the food was beautiful and the whole atmosphere was beautiful! a dame called alisha also ensured that we had everything we needed and was very courteous and friendly! 100% recommend this place, 5* all around <3

The first time to the rioja tapas and what a beautiful place of the minute we went into the minute we let great by friendly staff and the new owner pam personally introduced themselves waiter alex and aaron, where great and helpful to our first tapas experince fab. eating was nicely broken garnel and koftas were my favorite bags and Patata brivas next to and the chocolate cheesecake was crispy and a good choice of gins environment were stunning sat outside watching the widlife on the water below we came with a groupon deal, but would definatley come back thank you love roy and jackie xx
We had the pleasure of an evening here 8 of us in a pod it would highly recommend that all coworkers are excellent from beginning to Finnish they can not do enough for them to feel so welcome will certainly go back.
Recently taken over. Pam and family are making Rioja the place to be in Saddleworth. Great food, great service, super friendly staff. We love it. Not only that they don’t charge the Earth just because they are in Uppermill. Ged Vicky.
