What happened to our friendly community pub where we met friends for a few drinks and an occasional meal! the change of the personal is phenomenal, the menus ar... read more What happened to our friendly community pub where we met friends for a few drinks and an occasional meal! the change of the personal is phenomenal, the menus are only laminated pieces of paper instead of the beautiful folder...we were used to not mention the contents. my apple crumb was all fragile, no apple and soggy. will not hurry to go back.

This is our second visit in this pub. our first visit was very good this time. had to start the goat cheese, which was very nice. for the main course the sirloi... read more This is our second visit in this pub. our first visit was very good this time. had to start the goat cheese, which was very nice. for the main course the sirloin steak decided. to be brutally honest, it was terrible not well cooked and...the parts still raw. informed a worker who said they would not give the cook any other feedback. the bill was £87, which would have been reasonable if the food were acceptable. my wife also not really happy with her steak so a bad visit unfortunately
