Stopped for a fish supper while passing through town. Pleasant and cheerful service. We had fish chips and mushy peas and tea for £5.10. Fish in batter was delicious, crisp and crunchy. Chips a bit soggy and pale, mushy peas a bit sloppy. The mugs of tea were ok. Not asked how we wanted it, told the tea bags were left in for us to decide how strong we wanted it. By far the best chippy in shaw. eating is amazing portion sizes are great and the staff is very friendly.

Saturday wouldn't be Saturday without our Dolphin chippy tea! Been going since I was a kid and I'm going on sixty now. There's a reason it's still there after 50+ years.
