Today just before lunch closed disappointed when their legendary homemade cheese and was sold beetle cake, but ordered chips and meat and potato cake anyway they had not enough chips for 3 portions? so made with 2 and...(half part for my enkelin! horrified to find the chips of my enkelin seemed a small part of their metal "chip drainer" in their part of the chips shop was now closed, so could not report that our results chip shop must know that a part of their utensili was missing! unfortunately there was not the usual service standard today!
Wondeful fish and chips, friendly service, generous portions, great home made extras like cheese and onion pie, mushy peas, shepherd's pie, chicken curry.. And it's been like that for years. Father and daughter team, nothing fancy, no unexpected menu changes or massive price hikes. Everything...that a traditional fish and chip shop should be. Thank you Delph Chippy! We love you.
Great service, great food and good price. Friendly staff and all in a lovely little village of Delph.
Stopped off here this week. Best chippy I think I’ve ever had. The chicken curry with half rice and half chips is an absolute must!
I see myself as a bit of a fish and chip connoisseur, and let me tell you, my socks are nothing short of knocked off after my visit here. Light, crispy batter, wonderfully chunky fish and soft, fluffy chips covered in lashings of salt and...vinegar the perfect way to refuel after a trek up to Chew Reservoir.
