Cooked to perfection so nice to have a take away and enjoy it as I usually have one and feel disappointed from other places. This is a new find for us and will for sure be returning again now we have found it well done bay leaf sensational flavours!!!!!

We only live half a mile from the Bay Leaf so it should be our local curry place but, the last time we tried their food, around 5 or 6 years ago, the food was a... read more We only live half a mile from the Bay Leaf so it should be our local curry place but, the last time we tried their food, around 5 or 6 years ago, the food was abysmal. We thought we would give it another go yesterday, 21/03/2021, just to find it hadn 't improved. The main course I had tasted awful, with tough chicken and with a lot of oil (possibly Ghee) on top. My wife 's wasn 't any better! Our starter had really tough lamb with gristle in it. We only ate around 20% of all our dishes. We 've learned our lesson and will NEVER go back. To cap it all, when I went to collect the food, there was another customer, with no face mask on, in the place who was standing at the bar, drinking a pint and chatting with a member of staff. I thought this was not allowed during lockdown?????
