Their impressive skills never fail to amaze me. The cakes are always soft, fluffy, and taste incredibly fresh. We ordered a cake for my dad’s 74th birthday, expecting it to be the centerpiece of the celebration, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The cake was poorly baked—soggy in the middle, dense, and undercooked. It was far from the delicious, perfectly baked cake we hoped for. When I returned the cake to the shop, the staff showed no acknowledgment of the problem and seemed clueless about how a gluten-free cake should look and taste. The bakery’s standards are very poor, and the manager clearly isn’t maintaining quality. I paid £32 for a soggy dough topped with cream and some fruit. The customer service was appalling—once you’ve paid, you’re left to fend for yourself, as the bakery refused to take responsibility and even tried to blame me. Do not order gluten-free cakes from here. Extremely disappointing all around.

Despite my concerns, I wa... read more I will never use Cake Break again. I ordered a cake and paid extra for delivery, but when it arrived, the top tier was already tilted. Despite my concerns, I was told it was fine, even though they admitted the tilt happened during transport. Just an hour into my event, the cake started leaning dangerously, and I feared it would fall over. To make matters worse, they had the audacity to blame me, saying I had knocked it. After reading other reviews, it seems this is a common problem with them. This will be my first and last time ordering from Cake Break, and I will be warning all my family and friends. Their name really says it all—Cake Break!
