Very nice experience! We have the grilled Octopus and Calimari for apps, both were delicious! I got the Cioppino and Stacy the Lachsburger. Both were excellent and unlike The River in Wethersfield, the portions were quite large. The service was very good, even if we just arrived at about 5:30 a.m. on a Sunday, we sat right away. It is a little expensive, but the landscape, food and service make it well worth it. View all feedback.

Charming hotel/inn. The hostess was not very accommodating, despite our reservation. However, the wait staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, I found the special of the day—meatloaf—to be quite disappointing.

The cocktails are great, but they come with a hefty price tag. The outdoor dining area is lovely, but the seating in boat slides can get quite uncomfortable, especially on hot days. The menu is quite limited in terms of entrees, offering only two or three fish options, and there's an overemphasis on fried dishes. After my second visit, I had to lower my rating from 4 stars to 3. I did enjoy the burrata with tomatoes, which is exactly to my taste, priced at $17.
On Sundays, they offer an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring both breakfast and lunch. They have an omelette station and a pasta station where you can customize your orders. There is also a wide selection of delicious desserts, all of high quality. You can sit outside by the marina and take in the beautiful views.
