We very much enjoyed our evening at The Globe. Fantastic night view of Riyadh with tables directly beside the windows facing the view. Given the price the food was good but not outstanding. Service was very good and the staff worked to make our evening special. Unfortunately, I was served uncooked vegetables, as in not properly cooked for several dishes even the French fryers. The food was below average, the playlist is incredibly annoying.. They played almost 6 songs over and over again, especially Ed Sheeran's form of you and other two songs that were incredibly unsuitable for such an atmosphere! Beautiful view, great service. They've introduced a new menu,the food is good but it can be better.
First of all the the globe never answers their reservation dial-in number, you need to call the front desk so they transfer your call for them to answer it. The reservation guy told me they have no reservations available, but then I booked it from opentable and called them again just to mention that it was my anniversary and if they can do something about it. After reaching the hotel, They cancelled my booking for being 5mins late, I had to tell the concierge this before they let me upto the hotel. As I had mentioned it in advance that it was my anniversary so that they could do something special, flower or cake) nothing was done, only after I requested the waiter he said he would do something about it, all they did was throw some rose petals on my table. Food was good as expected by a 5* hotel. Do try their rib eye steak. Drinks were fresh and unique. The music selection was very poor, the playlist had 3-4 vulgar songs in the time I spent there.
The best dinner experience of my life. Superb food, excellent service. I would suggest the vegetarian menu . Customized service for anniversary or birthday
