3.9 / 5 (1304 reviews)

Description

The Peanut is a lively, well‑decorated spot celebrated for generous whole wings—bright buffalo and lemon‑pepper flavors—and solid pub fare like burgers, nachos and onion rings. Service is generally warm and attentive, the bar and happy‑hour deals make it budget‑friendly, and ample parking helps on busy days. Expect a dark, divey atmosphere that can get crowded; takeout is fast but has been inconsistent with missing utensils/condiments, and a few menu items occasionally underwhelm.

On a positive note, the restaurant itself had a great atmosphere. It was well-decorated, and the staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. So, while the wings may not compare to those from WNY, the overall experience was enjoyable.

This was our first time at The Peanut, and we weren't sure if six wings were enough for the both of us. Our waitress, Kalista was very sweet and helpful. The wings only took about 20-30 minutes and it was worth it. Not only was six wings enough for 2 of us, since one of us was on a diet, but they were the best wings we have ever had. My 14 year olds favorite restaurant used to be Buffalo Wild Wings, but he said we can never go anywhere else for wings again except The Peanut! They were so good we had to go meet the cook, Sophie. We had to tell her just how great her wings really were. If you have not tried wings at The Peanut, then you simply don't know what you're missing.

Went for the wings, saw on Fridays they have Fish-n-chips, was not disappointed in that! The coleslaw was a miss but the rest was well done. Seat yourself seating gets awkward with large crowds so be aware of that.Food: 4/5

We were recommended The Peanut because of the wings. We were told they have the best wings. So we decided to give it a try. It was on the weekend the Chiefs won to go to the 2020 Superbowl so it was packed around lunch time. We were lucky enough to get the last seat and with how busy it was the service was still great. Multiple people came by to check on us and refill our water. It felt like we were some of the only customers in there. We ordered the wings with a side of fries and a tuna sandwich. The wings were great. I think they had some sort of lemon pepper dry rub with buffalo sauce as the wet rub. The tuna sandwich was good too. I would recommend the peanut to anyone. Very pleased with our trip.

Loved the stuffed mushrooms and BLT. So good!! Great atmosphere, felt very comfortable.
