I like this place... I travel to Olathe once a week and have to stay overnight. I'm a BBQ guy and noticed Johnny's was visited by Diners-Drive-ins Dives... First experience was good. Food was hot. Good portions, ribs were good. Last two times... not as good, plus prices increased! Last week, I got 1/2 rack meal.. sides (baked beans, cole slaw) were good (consistant), but ribs were v e r y dry and tough...like they'd... View all feedback.
Love their BBQ. Family loves it too. Always fast, fresh, and the sauce is excellent!

I was pleased to find this continuation of a culinary tradition which has brought me great pleasure. That being said, everything is good. The ribs, brisket, etc are all phenomenal. Fall off the bone tender. Of note is the chicken. It is hickory smoked and then fried. It is even better than it sounds! I look forward to Patronizing this establishment whenever I am able for many years to come. Parking: Lot located behind the building. Plenty of room. Wheelchair accessibility: My companion was disabled and we had no problems.
Outstanding bbq. Brisket and beans were awesome! Ribs were not fall of the bone, like I like. But great flavor ?
Kid-friendliness: Casual place, good for kids. Kids menu.
Great food, great service. The place just needs a good cleaning!
