Glad we went as it was getting late on a Monday night, but we went anyway. So glad we did as we enjoyed some of the BEST Pulled Pork, Beef, and Ribs!! The side dishes were baked beans and cole slaw were really, really good, too! Katherin our server was nice too even though we were late arrivals as they close at 8 on Mondays. View all feedback.

The BBQ Tips were underwhelming for me. I was expecting a lot better. The potato salad though was THE BEST I've ever had. Nice atmosphere, just not the BEST BBQ I've ever had. View all feedback.
The food is great and it gets you full and can't eat anything else
The service is always excellent!! We LOVE this BBQ. Best in KC in my opinion.
Very friendly staff. Great brisket and sausage and burnt ends. The fire places is a great touch
Our waitress had zero personal interest. Styrofoam cups, no beer cuz license was not renewed, Everything is served in VERY small plastic containers. The burnt ends were so dry I had to use a ton of bbq sauce. We have gone there for many years, but will look for another bbq place. It’s a shame. My husband did enjoy his full rib rack. Oh well, good luck to the new owners.
BBQ done right. I'm picky about what restaurants I take to go, some don't travel well, but Johnny's is great at home too.
