Ginger Sue's is a good breakfast/brunch spot. I had the Berrry Nice smoothie and the Cajun Crepe. The smoothie was very good, refreshing and not too sweet. The crepe was good, but the andouille within was a bit underwhelming. The breakfast potatoes on the side were very good, lots of flavor and a good crust. The service was excellent. View all feedback.
What Joel Davis doesn't like about Ginger Sue's:
I hate going to restaurants that have too high of a rating. So here's an honest review. It was overpriced, for some reason even though I spent $60 for BREAKFAST, they wouldn't give my kids free refill on juice and milk, our server was nice but super inattentive, the pancakes tasted super batter-y, the bacon tasted like bad oil, the potatoes looked nice but weren't super flavorful, and my breakfast burrito was tiny. The breakfast at this establishment consistently meets expectations and is highly recommended. They also offer a variety of lunch options.
It was good, service was great and atmosphere is cozy enough. I'd say the menu is pretty basic, but it gets the job done.
Ate breakfast there a couple weeks ago, it was delicious. I wish I had taken photos of the food
The quiche! (With the corn chowder ,even better) I have never had a quiche like this before and I order one everything I go. So delicious ?. All the food is amazing and I have worked there before. Ginger is detail orientented, maintains a high standard and makes sure the recipe is right everytime. This is a family business and the comfort of waking up , meeting with a friend and having affordable comfort food is unlike any other. They change the seasonal menu pancakes ,omletes and drinks. One of my favorite places to eat.
If you have not been to Ginger Sue’s you need to put it on your list. Their quiche is the best I have ever tasted.
