I went to this restaurant for dinner last Thursday evening. The service was good overall, but they almost forgot a drink that was ordered, and it took a while for them to bring it to the table.

My first visit to this restaurant will be my last. We arrived at the restaurant at 6.15pm and the restaurant was busy, which is what you would expect. Our server was a delightful young lady who said there was a wait for table, which was fine. We were seated at 6.30 Our order was taken shortly after that. There we sat, watching take out after take out being sent out whilst tables were waiting to be served. When asked when food was being served we were told it was coming. It did at 8.15 and not together. I asked our server why the delay? Noting that take out seem to be the priority not customers at the table. Management completely abdicated their responsibility by letting their staff take the flak. The food, in keeping with the service. No blame on the poor serving staff, they did their best coping with poor management.

We attended on a Sat. night when the restaurant was full. It is a small place and the crowd noise was deafening and continuous. There is no quiet table. However, the worst part of the experience was the server who repeatedly insisted he would prepare only one bill despite the fact there were 2 couples wishing separate bills. After he took my order for a beer he busied himself bussing tables, etc. and a 2nd. request for the beer was made which when it arrived was about 1/2 head and foaming over the sides forming a large puddle on the table. Our meals took about 1 1/2 hours to arrive so we were given pappadam on the house. We had to request the server to go get our appetizers which were prepared and waiting for him to pick up. After serving our meals, the server returned to needlessly re-arrange our dishes and required us to put our 2 different orders of naan in one basket. I could go on. The server was new to us and we hope he is gone if and when we return. The portions are small but tasty as usual. This is the only Indian cuisine in the area and we shall likely return but not on a Sat. night.
