What Amrit Golhar doesn't like about Namaste India Fine Indian Cuisine:
They don't follow requests! I requested for the food to be extra spicy, the food was so bland, sweet and had no flavour at all. They cook the food in so much oil that it spilt everywhere. Don't even bother ordering raita spiced yogurt as it's just yogurt with cucumber and zero spices plus the portion is so small. I ordered the chicken vindaloo and it was probably the best I've ever had. I've read some other reviews about chicken being tough but my experience was exactly the opposite. It was tender and spiced just right. The heat was just how I like it and portions were big enough that I had left overs for lunch the next day . The naan was fresh and tasty and I'll be ordering from here again! Great job folks!
Today was our first visit here and having been a good junkie for East Indian food and having tried so many restaurants across BC Alberta including many years in the UK) I have to say that this food is some of the best that I have tried to date!I would not hesitate to highly recommend Namaste India for their excellent quality and taste as well as generous portions…..you have to go try them, you will not be disappointed!!
I was placing an order on call and girl on other was in rush and hanged up the call in between . Wont be back at this restaurant
Favourite Indian, love that it is just down the road from our house. Wonderful people and wonderful food.
A nice local experience. The food was amazing and the service was a perfect match. Will definitely be back.
