In Cahoots Bar & Grill - Okotoks

Went our for a few late night drinks over the holidays and would not go back. Place was full of young, drunk teenagers and was tough for us to even get a drink. Were there about an hour and a couple fights broke out... won't be going back.

They have outside sitting, plenty og tables and a bar to sit and eat at. You can play pool at one of the two pool tables or play slots. They play old rock and country music. Seems like a great place to hang out and socialize at. I would go here again.

Great pub food. My green salad was fresh and lots of variety in it. The beef dip was delicious and loved the fries. The owner/manager asked us how our meals were and thanked us for coming. I can't remember ever being treated so welcoming.

A visit recently to Cahoots Bar & Grill started out as a very enjoyable experience as we were met at the door by a smiling waitress who invited us to take a seat and relax as we were in for a fine dining experience. The waitress started right of my asking us if we wanted anything to drink and here was the menu which she pointed out that steak sandwiches were the specialty. We decided to go with her suggestion and ordered the steak sandwich, one well done and the other medium. In no time at all out orders arrived and the steaks looked very good. Once I started into mine I found that it was not cooked to a medium level but to a very rare level but unfortunately we were on a time crunch and I decided to just eat around the outside which was cooked fairly well. Once we were finished eating the waitress asked us about our meal and I stated that the steak was not cooked properly and she could see the redness of the meat and said she was sorry. I mentioned that it was ok but she needed to speak to the cook about the level of doneness of the steaks in the future. Overall the atmosphere of the restaurant was very good and the waitress was excellent; however; the meal was only average due to the quality of the cooking. For anyone who is going to eat at this restaurant I suggest you emphasis the level of your steak cooking quality right up front but the rest of the experience was very good.

My boyfriend took me here on a recent trip to Calgary/Okotosks as he considers this "his pub" when working out in Calgary. The staff are very friendly & the food was very good pub food. The prices are great & the portions are large.
