The House of Smoke in Okmulgee serves the best smoked meat we've encountered from coast to coast! Their meat is not artificially smoked with any fake liquids; instead, it is infused with natural smoke that is perfectly balanced—not too overpowering or bitter. The flavors are delicate and juicy, and the meat simply falls off the bone. You won’t be disappointed! The baked beans are fantastic, loaded with bits of grilled meat, onions, and green peppers, while the potato salad embodies the classic American experience. The staff and family are friendly and attentive, and you won't have to wait long for your order. We feel incredibly fortunate to have this gem in our community! You absolutely need to try it; the food is crafted with love and prepared to perfection.
It was an incredible experience. The food was exceptional, and our waitress was fantastic. It was our first visit, as we're from California visiting my sister who recommended a place near her home. I had the pulled pork sandwich with fried pickles, and I also tried my nephew's shrimp. Everything was top-notch!
My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time, and it was incredible! The BBQ and catfish were some of the best we've had in a long time. The staff was fantastic, and they served us generous portions. We even had to take some food home in a box!
