Absolutely fantastic!!! This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant!! Must try the pineapple habanero salsa!! The Quesa Birria is amazing. Very unique and everything works together perfectly! I also had the blackened shrimp taco. The corn and beans were great ! Again, fantastic and delicious! Service was excellent food came out quick and HOT! This will definitely be on the rotation for the family! View all feedback.
What Kayla doesn't like about Taqueria El Camino:
Food was okay. The queso was pretty salty. The salsas were good. My husbands and myself didn’t care for the rice or beans. The chicken taquitos were good as well as the brisket burrito. Not sure if we will go again though. Service was good. View all feedback.
Atmosphere: Fun, festive environment. Loved the shirts that all the staff had on!Food: I ordered the chicken fajitas with a side of rice and black beans. Chicken fajitas portion was HUGE!!! The chicken didn’t really taste seasoned so that was a little disappointing but that rice and those beans were GOOD! The rice had a great flavor. It was my favorite thing about my meal.My friends ordered the chips, salsa and quest for the table. The salsa was heavy on the tomato taste. The queso was pretty good, very thick and cheesy. If you like Tex-mex cheese and salsa then this will be your jam.We shared a cupcake that tasted like Tres leches cake. Typically Tres leches is very moist and spongy and this was pretty dry and more like cake, but the flavor was for the most part there…the topping made up for it and together it was good and I’d eat it again.Overall, I wouldn’t frequent here unless a friend wanted to try it out. I’m not really into progressive Tex Mex taco joints and restaurants. I’d rather have authentic Mexican food, and if that’s what you’re looking for, don’t go here. If you like torchy’s tacos or a place like that, you’ll like this place.
The food is good but they charge a surcharge like Sunnyside. Under Title 59, Section 2-1252 of Oklahoma State law. No person, firm, partnership, association, or corporation shall impose any surcharge or fee upon a consumer for the use of a credit card or debit card in connection with the purchase of goods or services. The only exception is unless the company takes in less than 1 Million a year.Hopefully no other restaurants choose to follow them down the surcharge road.

We've visited twice on friday evenings. Love the food. Service was good too. But the music was so LOUD we (2 first time and again with 4 second time) couldn't carry on a conversation. I shared this problem with the lady manager; she just shrugged it off as if it was okay for most. Sorry, but it was so offensive it ruined our dining experience.Sadly, but for this reason only, unless you promise to turn down to a more reasonable level, we won't be coming back.Note: Mgmt, others we've since shared with, also totally agree.
We stopped in here a couple days ago and we will certainly be back. The tacos, tortas, and sides were so so good! We did not like the queso, it was very watery and lacked flavor and the drinks from the bar were not that great. That will not stop us and I couldnt take away a star because everything else was outstanding. We will try the chips and guac next time and order a different drink. :
