Had a super awesome Crêpe here for dessert today! Nutella, strawberry and chocolate. Place is kind of hidden down 9th street but it's super clean and staff was friendly. View all feedback.
What Barrett Volkman doesn't like about Sara Sara Cupcakes:
I'm disappointed. The service was somewhat unfriendly and kind of slow. It took a long time for our order to be ready and the crepes were a disappointment. Both crepes were dry and too thick. They are not the real thin, light, fluffy and flavorful original recipe. I hope they will improve in the future. View all feedback.
Awesome little shop, super friendly staff with indoor and outdoor seating with tons of shade, these guys serve up a great variety of cupcakes from common to
Avoid at all costscupcakes are incredibly, inedibly dense and drywould make a good paperweight or door stop, but should not be eaten.
Just not good. It's hard to say that about a cupcake, but when it's at least a day old and the frosting is supposed to be chocolate but taste like a wet crayon wrapper, I can't say otherwise. I've had an assortment of cakes from here over the past few years and they did start out a lot better than they are today. Today I can barely get my fork to break through the top of the cake and there is a lingering bad aftertaste, sort of like shaving cream. Too bad, since it's close to my office, but there are other options.
Never said this before about a cupcake, but yuck. I resent putting those calories in my body. Let's try a cake with flavor and an icing that isn't just a sticky mixture scraped across the top. I'll refrain from talking about the customer service.
The cup cakes are dry. The icing is tasty but with the cake, it doesn't taste right. They are overpriced. Overall, it was okay. If I have to chose between Sara Sara's and someplace else, I probably would not go back here again.
