What Zakary Hudson likes about Ricky's Cafe:
Worth the Drive!. To start: The thinnest, crispiest chips done to perfection! The cheese sauce is thick and tasty. Might work on the flavor of the salsa--but not bad. I love Ricky's chile rellenos--I've been to most every major Mexican restaurant in the city and no one does rellenos like Ricky's!! They are never too spicy hot and they are larger than any restaurant I've been to. The beans and rice are excellent, too!... View all feedback. What Brayan Sporer doesn't like about Ricky's Cafe:
Best Posole In Town. If you like Posole, then you must make Ricky's on Morgan Road a destination spot so you can try their version...hands down, it is the best Posole I've ever had. Ten bucks will get you a huge bowl of the most delicious broth, teeming with hominy and generous portions of meat. Chips and queso are really good, but the regular salsa is a bit timid for my taste. They do however have a spicy version (i... View all feedback.

read moreRicky's on Morgan Road is a neighborhood restaurant that is a must-visit for Posole lovers, as they serve hands down the best Posole in town. The large bowl of delicious broth with hominy and generous meat portions is a standout dish. The chips and queso are good, but the regular salsa is a bit timid, although they do offer a spicy version. Other menu items are decent, but not as spectacular as the Posole. The thinnest, crispiest chips, flavorful cheese sauce, and excellent chile rellenos are also highlights. The grilled pork chops are specially recommended. Customer service is impressive, and overall, the restaurant is a solid choice with good Tex-Mex food and frozen beer mugs with lime. The cheeseburger is also highly recommended, showcasing the restaurant's ability to deliver delicious American cuisine in addition to Mexican fare. In summary, Ricky's is a great spot for tasty food, fast and friendly service, and reasonable prices, making it a popular choice among its visitors.
