My wife and I were in OKC for work and red prime was recommended to us and we definitely recommend it to everyone as well. Steaks were amazing mine came out a little over cooked and they checked it and had no issues getting me a new one. What Taylor doesn't like about Red Prime Steak:
Experience isn’t there for the price point, and steak alone can’t justify a $300 bill for 2 ppl in my opinion. Sides are lacking in flavor. Protein was great though mine was severely undercooked and had to be sent back. Drinks were so slow due to our server and the bar combined and service was unimpressive. Trendy twist on a classic steakhouse. Vibey red lighting, crisp white table cloths and comfy couches and booths for more intimate occasions. Cocktails were crafted with care, French onion soup was super cheesy and rich, filet minion was cooked perfectly according to preferences and the complimentary rubs and sauces were a tasty surprise. Speaking of surprises, the loaded mashed potatoes were an unexpected winner for a side dish! The crème brûlée for two really could feed more than two unless you have a serious sweet tooth. To top things off, our server Gus was professional, personable, and made our experience pleasant and comfortable.
Food was great. Service was amazing. One complaint tho is that we didn’t get our entire food in our to go. Our wagyu steak and Parmesan fries were thrown away or lost. But regardless weren’t there when we received our to go box.
Love love this place. The absolute only reason I didn’t give it a full 5stars was I ordered the wagyu skirt steak I ordered was pretty tough should have done the filet. The service was outstanding. Green Chile Mac was out of this world. They’re version of scalloped potatoes insane. Amazing place.
