This is a nice little taqueria off N. MacArthur. The tacos are reasonably priced at $1.70. I really enjoyed the chorizo and asada tacos. The carnitas was a little dry. Some lime juice and hot sauce helped out a lot. All in all a decent taqueria. If you're in the area it worth checking out, and trying for yourself. View all feedback.
What Geo Zieme doesn't like about La Frontera:
all these good reviews are so misleading. I got the burrito, my associate got the tostada, and we were both very disappointed. eating was tasteless, and the highly praised guacamole was blanching. They save their money, they're better somewhere else. View all feedback.
The best eating in the late night I had in a past. I was on the i-40 at 11 o'clock. I thought I'd stick with a chain heel. tried deceit, fishtaks and an Asada-Burrito. all spicy, but very good.

BEST PLACE EVER.. Authentic. not tex mex. not pablanos. not chelinos. so if you think this is a place like that, you are wrong. This mexican food is the REAL deal, and its bomb. yummmmmmmyyyy!
I love this place where they have the best Mexican burritos ever!
Anyone coming here needs to .... Anyone coming here needs to know this is not really a restaurant, it's more of an indoor taco stand. You get counter service, buy bottled soda, and bus your own table. The menu is very traditional Mexican, not tex-mex, it's also mostly in Spanish. They do not have queso or serve sopapillias. I had a carneasada beef burrito and it was very flavorful. My date had a chicken quesadilla and it was okay, the chicken was rather bland and stringy, but it was edible. They homemade guacamole and have very tasty chips. Overall, this place is fine for what it is, but don't expect a tex-mex experience with an attentive server
