OKLAHOMA CITY – It had been far too long since I ate delicious Mediterranean food, but that changed Tuesday afternoon, thanks to Gyros by Ali: Restaurant Hookah Bar. In an attempt to scarf down some food in between meetings and all of the other work-day related activities, I chose to stop by to see what they had to offer on my way back to the office. It wasn't as easy to find without the Jeep Wrangler on a giant pole... View all feedback.

Greek eating is rarely at the top of my list, but if I get that, there are so few options in oklahoma city. I am glad to have this great new option on my list. the meat is exceptional and succulent. it is cut and beautiful thick pieces. if they had only one gyro of a food truck, they could be a little surprised. the sauce is wonderful creamy with the right amount of sour and the pita is quite gq. the prices on this place are exceptional. they can spend between 8 and $12 and with a very full booze. there are many parking spaces around the facility and seating areas, one of which can also be hooked. As an OU-Alum I find that I juiky stacked high gyro tablets that could only fulfill a 45-minute drive to norman (greek house anyone? I found gyros of ali. when they are looking for delicate juicy gyro meat, soft pita and garlicky tzatziki sose in the subway ali is your man. loved the variety on the menu also philly gyro? yum! they also had large sides (fries, hummus, rice, tabbouleh. . they get the standard large portions, and everything is really good! nice to have a place with big circles (and other medium eats with a good atmosphere to boot!
We have some pretty big gyros around n. okc (zorba, medium sea imports), but I think the new gyros of ali beats them all. we are here several times and it is one of these situations where I want to try their other menu items, but the gyros are so good I can not order a sandwich or platter. the secret can be the rich, garlicky tzatziki. Interior/outside seats, beautiful vibe and hookau setups, although I am not familiar enough with this to comment.
Seriously addicted to their falafel, it's like none other than I've had before.
Best gyro meat in town. Homemade and super tender. Everything is well executed. Great job!
