If you visit for breakfast or brunch, your meal won't be complete without trying a cinnamon roll. They start serving cinnamon rolls after 10 o'clock on Sundays, which was a delightful surprise. Oma has a nostalgic vibe for anyone who attended OSU, and it offers the same diner-style charm you would expect. View all feedback.

The staff here was incredibly friendly, quick, and generous. The highlight of my breakfast was definitely the fruit cup. Since I don’t eat eggs, they substituted them with two generous portions of fresh fruit, including a variety of melons and grapes. It was the best fruit cup I’ve had anywhere. My cookies were good, but not outstanding. The spicy value was a letdown; it seemed like it was made with mostly vegetable... View all feedback.
So, this was my debut at Granny's Kitchen it did not disappoint! Place was clean the staff was nice. I had the Pig Biscuit...open faced Biscuits w/ gravy, sausage, ham, bacon, cheese...but let me tell you about these fried potatoes...literally the best seasoned fried potatoes I've ever had. I don't know what oracle was back in the kitchen cooking, but they slayed them potatoes! I also tried the cinnamon roll French toast...there were a bit sweet for me, but I still finished the whole plate, hahaha. Mos def will be back to try more...especially those potatoes!
Server was so good, I boosted from 2 stars to 3. But the food was mid. I will try again, as I may have just ordered something dumb, though it is the signature dish. The Nasty Granny had some good flavors, but ultimately way too much breading between the healthy crust on the chicken fried steak and the biscuits below. Tater tots were cooked well, while the steak was slightlty undercooked and chewy. Coffee was decent, but the orange juice was a little too sour for my taste.
I give it 5 stars because the majority of the menu is superb. But I do want them to start making gravy from scratch. I talked to the manager about it and I feel like he heard me out. It just doesn?t match the quality of everything else on the menu. So if you are a southern and good sausage gravy is important to you, be aware, there are plenty of other items on the menu that you can enjoy.
The service was exceptional when we ate at Granny?s Kitchen. We really appreciated the staff and how they accommodated us. All of us loved the biscuits; they were truly delicious! I had a Southwest breakfast burrito and it was filling. It was a large breakfast burrito; next time, I definitely want to try it smothered with their southwest sauce. Mrs. Flip Out had the Cowboy Skillet and shared with the boys. It was more than enough for them to enjoy.
My husband and I have traveled to granny?s restaurant on several different occasions, and every time we visit, the service has always been above and beyond. The food portions are always huge, and they have several different meat options that?s one thing that I love about going to granny?s is that everything on the menu is not based around pork; you have people that do not eat pork, and their restaurant has meat options that I love. On the last visit, the hubby ordered chicken fried chicken, and the chicken that he ordered had no flavor; he tried to season it up by adding a little bit of hot sauce, salt, and pepper, but it was still lacking flavor. A gentleman approached our table not long after and asked if there were any issues with our food. The husband decided to let them know that the chicken fried chicken was very bland; the gentleman offered to remake the chicken fried chicken or make something else on the menu for us. It was very kind of him on so many levels we opt out not to re-order anything because we didn?t think it would be fair. After all, my husband was almost done with his breakfast. For these reasons this is why we will continue to dine at Granny?s.
