Still the best drive-in experience in Oklahoma! It is always comforting to re-visit an old favorite and find the food to be exactly as incredible as you remember. Everything is made as ordered so expect to wait a little bit longer than some other places. My chicken fried chicken supreme was well worth the wait. Service was very slow, hence they only had 3 people working. We had to go in for them to take our order because we had 3 separate orders. They were more focused on taking the phone orders and car orders than ours. It took about 20 minutes before they finally took our order. When we got the food, the steak sandwich was really good. I really love Del Rancho, but today I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and I'm not sure if they were just in a hurry or what, but it ended up being more like a regular cheese sandwich. It was barely cooked, just enough to melt the cheese. I was disappointed, especially since I had to pay $9 for a kid's meal grilled cheese. Please take your time with the food preparation, especially at these prices!
This restaurant serves outstanding chicken fried steak. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. You won't regret it, trust me!
Fresh food and correct order and friendly staff most of the time.
They were out of okra and tots, and the ice cream machine wasn’t working. The food arrived quickly, and it was hot and flavorful, but there were no napkins, no spoon for my mashed potatoes, no ketchup for the onion rings, and no salt or pepper. A mint would have been nice, too. Fortunately, I found a fresh plastic spoon and some napkins in my glove box.
I’m not a local, and I was unsure about this place at first, but let me tell you, ever since I tried it over a week ago, I’ve been obsessed! I love both the chicken fried chicken and the chicken fried steak! I’m currently enjoying dinner and trying to figure out which one I like better, but I just can’t decide!
