Chelino's Mexican - Oklahoma City

This place is a solid 4 star. Good steak and shrimp fajitas. Homemade tortillas. I would definitely come back again. I was here during the day so Service was good. I can't speak to the rush. Legit

My wife and I ate there on a Saturday night.  It is only fair to begin by telling you that the place was relatively busy though not so busy there was a wait to be seated.  Normally though, when it is busy, I cut some slack for sub-par service.  However, this was just plain bad service. They served us taco chips at the get-go but we had to ask for the salsa.  Soon thereafter, the waiter took our orders.  The drinks took a long, long time to arrive followed almost immediately by our entrees.  We assumed (my bad) that he just forgot the appetizer.  Nope!  It finally arrived when we were half finished with our meal.  The food was quite tasty but I have to put this restaurant under ' one and done.'  We won't be back.

This is just like every other Tex-Mex greasy spoon you have been to. There is nothing on the menu that screams Eat Me Eat Me!!! The service and atmosphere are what keeps this place in business. It's a decent enough place to start an evening. BGS

This location offers the best atmosphere for this restaurant in Oklahoma City but the food and service pales in comparison to the location on North May. It is really easy to access seating at this location but I don't know why anyone would recommend it.

One of many in the local chain. The decor is nicer than some of the stores, but the food is, if anything, a bit less. Perhaps some of the smaller stores can spend more time on the cooking.
