On multiple occasions, my family and I have ordered from here both over the phone and online, only to show up to pick up our food to find out that it hasn't even been started yet. It's a shame that the service is so consistently bad, because their food is actually pretty good. Overcooked, low quality, and expensive. Really disappointing.
I moved to Okemos and needed to find an American Chinese take out, and Lucky House fits the bill. It's exactly what you're expecting, but the portions are definitely on the generous side. Staff are friendly and no issues. I called in my order.
Very expensive, but let me explain.I read some reviews that said it was a good place to get Chinese food. I went to the website and ordered. Man, those prices are high. Spent quite a bit for three meals.I get there, and she hands me my bag. JFC, it weighed 20 pounds, no lie. You get what you pay for, and the food is really good. Highly recommend.
Lucky house has delicious fried rice and Buddhist delight. My son loves the sweet n sour chicken. Friendly service.
Always happy with everything here. Definitely a great place for a fairly quick, easy lunch or dinner to bring home. The owners are always friendly and very customer conscious. It has been a pretty regular go-to for us for about 10 years.
