I have always liked Leaf, but my most recent visit left me disappointed. The bathroom was particularly dirty, and there were supplies and boxes strewn about the lobby, making it look untidy. The walls were also marked with food splatters. I do intend to return at some point, but I hope the restaurant will be in better condition next time. No one wants to eat in such unclean surroundings. Plentiful fresh greens, veggies, cheeses, fruits (I especially love the raspberries), and meats. The hot soup is tasty as well. Perfect for a quick, healthy meal on the go.
I've come across many reviews highlighting how expensive this restaurant can be, but it really depends on how you customize your salad. I've never spent more than $7 on one, and I can pile it high with chicken, avocado, eggs, and various toppings. I also add the dressing directly onto my salad. Just remember that your salad will be weighed, so it's wise to focus mainly on veggies. Overall, this place is fantastic! However, I found the smoothie prices to be steep; I typically just have water with most meals, and the great thing is that water is complimentary here.
