Hip Vegan - OJAI

It's a vegan place. The food was good, the old-fashioned burger somehow tastes like a mixture between an impossible burger and a turkeyburger, and it is creepy to eat with all the blows, but it is good. Cookies are moist, but very crispy. Taste better than some real cookies. 3 stars just because no service. Not bad, but the restaurant is designed to have no service. You get your own cutlery, pour your own water in cups, pack your napkins, clean your table all way like a fast food place, but it is not a fast food line. it is otherwise a pleasant seat.

This place was recommended to us by friends, and it was an enjoyable place to go for lunch. Plenty of options with some hits (fries, veggie sandwich, pickled veggies and misses (falafel plate, ?baguette? . The outdoor seating has seat lamps for the chillier winter days.

After a long day riding motorcycles, that was PERFECT. the tiger bowl is absolutely perfect. Interesting and diverse aromas, but let yourself feel fresh and energetic.

The absolutely best vegan burger I had for ever, maybe even!! After a local hike, my friend and I were starving and ready for lunch. Hip Vegan had been recommended in a recent issue of AAA's Westways with a write-up on Ojai, so I thought we would give it a chance. I got the old fashion burger, we separated some Gunpowder Fries, and (because I starved) I also got a date and Cacao Smoothy. It was a perfect lunch, delicious, peaceful on a sun terrace, fast and friendly service. A perfect meal for our Ojai Day
