One of the best meals I have ever eaten, go prepared with an empty stomach. Great service, great food, a must visit if you want to eat local, traditional food. They have a set menu for the day which is more than ai could have expected. It is a couple of km from the city centre but taxis are affordable and it is well worth the trip. View all feedback.
It was delicious, really, the Lamb from the grill was very good, also the platter with Macedonia homemade food!

Great place to have a traditional Macedonian diner, with great service. The portions are big, the food is delicious, and the setting is very cozy! It is mainly locals who come here to have a good family diner and i was very glad to discover this place as a tourist wanting to discover the macedonian culture. I strongly advise this restaurant. And thank Viktor for his warm welcome.
What a fantastic experience we had at Etno. The host was extremely friendly and spoke perfect English, self taught from watching films! He explained that they don't have a menu but rather have a set menu consisting of a tasting board of starters, such as komat, goats cheese, ajvar, garlic sauce, pasta. The main course was split into three parts....a stew made from chicken, pork and ham, beef with 6 cheeses wrapped in pastry and chicken, pork and ham with 5 cheeses wrapped in pastry. All were absolutely delicious. The kind of food rarely seen in other restaurants in Ohrid. Portion sizes were very generous, we had to take away part of the meal! Home made wine was also excellent and the host called us taxis to get back to town.
Nice place, owners are polite, food is delicious and well served but for Macedonians is overpriced. The restaurant is hard to find, it is not marked. There is no parking and you don't know where to leave the car. The entrance is like entering someone's yard. The menu is not available, so you don't know the price or what the food is made of, if there are any allergenic ingredients. Cash is paid but there is no fiscal account. I recommend this place if you want to taste something different than others restaurants in Ohrid.
