The sign says 'by a former five star chef ' and I want to know the back-story of the chef 's journey following the dream that ends with being master of his/her own food court, hole-in-the-wall.<br/ <br/ I enjoyed the pork chicken mixed grill, which inclues the best 'Prokbelly ' to be had for $11.50 in the city. The meat was cooked just right and nice and smokey and covered in sweet chilli and onion sauce, with boiled rice and nice salad. It was a filling, generous serve and hit the spot nicely. I will be coming back next time I am after some satisfying low-rent meat in the city. Next time I will try the Texas T-Bone for $12 -what could possibly go wrong for that price?

Alright I'm not going to lie and say this was trash because it wasn't! Wasn't exceptional, but hey, the chef did hell of a better job at cooking a steak than most at fine dining restaurants.

I've been to Bbsteakhouse many times and have always enjoyed my meal, I'm always amazed at how perfectly the steaks are cooked and how good the quality if the meat Tastes. The value of the Steak Chicken mixed grill is second to none. The sweet lemon/mandarin fruit sauce with some of the dishes may be a little on the sour side for some but I really enjoy it. I have ordered takeaway a few times also, while it does get busy after 12, I've been told if you call before 12 you can pre-order your meal to avoid waiting.

Never had a bad meal here. Better steak than most pubs, plus they also do amazing lamb chops, pork belly and juicy grilled chicken. Sides are fantastic too: superb roasted veggies or decent mixed greens, and I always have the mash (glad there's no fries option! Large serves, excellent value. Get in early at lunch to avoid long waits, as the secret's out about this brilliant lunch spot!

You seriously cannot go wrong at BBs, food is ridiculously good for the price, friendly service and they take phone orders for those of us on 30 min lunch breaks! Do yourself a favour and try this place out!
