I was in the mood for beer and fried chicken so Ban Ban was my destination. The fried chicken was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside and the sauce was sticky but delicious be prepared to get messy! The kimchi pancake was ok, maybe I should have ordered just a serve of kimchi or gone with the seafood one. Great service. View all feedback.
I love the Kfc here. the seafood pancake as well as their absolutely stunning honey dew melon bingsu. One of the very very few places in Adelaide you can get bingsu. If you haven't had one, you gotta so and try one. So freaking delicious.
Soooo good! I was with a group of six, so we opted for the banquet style. One member of our group was vegetarian and they were really accommodating. The manager came over multiple times to check she had enough vegetarian options. <br/ <br/ There was so much food bought over to us that we couldn't finish it all. Every dish we tried was great and I'll probably be dreaming about the boneless KFC with carbonara sauce until I come back. Definitely recommend!
This is definitely the best Korean Fried Chicken I’ve had!!! This place is super cute and the staff is very helpful. It’s definitely a must in Adelaide!!
You know what I love about Ban Ban? It 's the fact that the food is consistently damn good at both locations! Not only is it one of those trendy eateries where you ask a friend if they 're up for some KFC at Ban Ban and they say 'Yes! ', but it 's also got a creative and funky menu to add! If I did have a very tiny negative though, it would be that the KFC is maybe just a tad too oily for my liking.
Got the honey soy boneless chicken, the sauce was umami and well balanced and the chicken was reasonably tender! <br/ <br/ I would say skip the umami fries as they’re really just normal fries with bonito flakes. They’re not bad for a quick fix if you’re craving fries, but not a standout. <br/ <br/ The kimchi pancakes are not the thin crispy kind, they’re slightly thicker and abit more floury. <br/ <br/ The honeydew bingsu was pretty good the ice was finely shaved and the honeydew flavour wasn’t too artificial and the honeydew balls were sweet and juicy. I also liked that it was topped with lychee bubbles<br/ <br/ Finally, I’m not sure if I was unlucky and got a bad batch but the extra kimchi I ordered was over fermented so it was too sour and had a certain unpleasant taste. This kind of overfermented kimchi is usually more suitable for cooking stews as it imparts a deeper flavour, but not as a side dish/condiment. In addition, it was really expensive for such a small portion! $4) <br/ <br/ Kimchi rant aside, I had a generally positive experience and would come back!
