While some guests rave about delightful breakfasts, attentive service, and satisfying pub fare, others voice concerns over overpriced, mediocre meals and disappointing service experiences. Wait times for food can be frustrating, and a few patrons report uncomfortable interactions with staff. Worst breakfast we had in years, if not in my life. Sausage were dry and horrible taste, no choice of jam, potatoes undercooked and no taste, served in a paper plate. The 2 stars are for the location and the view. This place is to be Avoid otherwise beprepared to regret it.
I took the fish tacos, it was a big plate. It was wrap size tacos ! I was full after only one taco. The patio has a nice view on the beach. It was really busy on a Saturday afternoon on low season (mid October). The service was really good though, thewaitress was nice. When I got there they told me it would take some time before she takes my order because they are only 2waiters. The wait time was reasonable, I was expecting it to take longer because of the advertisement. The food is affordablebut the drinks are expensive (12$ for a drink) and they don?t put the drinks price on the menu.
Excellent breakfast. Best Blueberry pancakes I have had! Great beach view with outside dining.

The location...for breakfast...right on the beach, cannot be beaten. The food was ok, variety so-so, staff nice, overpriced.
Our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our time here! Although they warned us they were short-handed (like everywhere), our waitress Brooke was efficient and able to handle the customers without rushing us. The food was delicious and hot. The beach view was great! I definitely will return.
Went here for breakfast. Spoke to hostess, who quoted us 40min wait. We sat on the bench right outside and waited. Checked in and they said our name had been called and the gave the table to someone else. No problem, we got a table 10min later. Sat down at 9:55am. Several tables who sat down after us already ordered and were getting food. Flagged our waitress finally and the table ordered a mimosa and our breakfast. 10:40am and still nothing. Checked in on the waitress, she said it was coming. Mimosa arrived at 10:50am, food at 10:58am. Food was okay, definitely not worth the over an hour wait. Great view on the deck, but disappointing service and mediocre food.
I wish I could remember our server’s name because she was absolutely amazing. We were there on 7/5/24 at approximately 12:30 pm sitting on the deck! The live music was awesome the food was basic pub food but it was great! The server though was on spot though! She was 100% on top of everything! She had our drinks refilled the second they needed to be she had our extra tartar sauce 2 seconds after we asked for it and it’s.not like it was dead the joint was hoping! Girl deserves a big raise and it’s a total failure on my part I didn’t catch her name! Anyway if you’re in the area stop! The food was great the service was even better!

This restaurant really stands out due to its excellent beachside location. The food is good, and the service is adequate, but it’s the stunning setting that truly makes it exceptional.
The view was breathtaking, the service was friendly and inviting, and the breakfast was a treat. We savored blueberry pancakes, eggs, sausage, and home fries. The eggs were cooked to perfection as over easy, and the pancakes...

The service is consistently exceptional, and the staff are friendly and wonderful! The food is delicious and convenient, especially if you're at the beach or staying at the Norseman. You can't beat the views or the location!
Dining at Splash by the beach was a truly enjoyable experience. The menu offered a great variety of options to choose from.
Splash is a casual, fast-paced beachside dining spot that's nothing extraordinary. Located on the lower side of a hotel, it’s suitable for a quick meal — whether you’re grabbing a beer and burger, fries, or some decent fried seafood that’s better than average. Overall, it’s an average choice catering to the beach crowd. If you’re after something more refined, I’d suggest heading home to freshen up and explore other restaurant options on Urban Spoon.
