When I went to the Mitsukoshi basement, I bought some meat buns to take home. The size is just right. I like that the amount of dough is not heavy. I also like that the meat is not too fatty. The meat buns in Yokohama's Chinatown have a distinct aroma with ingredients like bamboo shoots. I prefer the gentle flavor of the meat buns here.
I visited the restaurant to buy some dango, but they were sold out before 3pm. I ended up purchasing yabure and soda manju, which were delicious. When I asked about "nikumanju", I was told it's called "nikuman" and realized it was an abbreviation. The pepper was a bit too strong and spicy, but the filling was soft and tasty.
