This has to be the best burger you can find in the Panhandle. I’ve never understood why people don't always use local Nebraska beef; living here and opting for anything else feels like living by the ocean and not eating fish. There are actually more cows in Nebraska than there are people—it's where some of the best beef in the world comes from! But enough about that. This place is perfect—it delivers exactly what you want from bar food. Did I mention the use of local beef?

It was definitely worth the slight detour off Interstate 80. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the ambiance had a rustic charm. The place was clean and offered plenty of seating. Highly recommend!

Its not often that you can get a consistent med... read more Having lived in Minnesota, South Dakota, Texas, and Colorado, this spot beats them all. The burgers are amazing. Its not often that you can get a consistent medium or well done or rare (I give props to the speedy cooks). The beef is great and flavorful. And choices of buns? Yum! They are big, and I often split mine with a friend. I love that I can choose different fry styles, from sweet potato to mushroom to steak. And the fried green beans allow me to pretend I 'm eating a thoroughly healthy vegetable! There is plenty of space for parking and eating, including some protected outside tables and a great belly up to the bar spot. The staff moves like the wind, and when I order pick up it is usually ready within 15 minutes max. Heartily recommend. It 's a great hometown spot!
