Have eaten here & ordered take away for many years. Great service, good fresh food and a menu with plenty of variety. BYO available along with a reasonable licenced wine list. Always made to feel welcome and menu variations catered to without fuss. Always a relaxing and enjoyable night out. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Jade Princess:
I have visited on a couple of occasions. Whilst the food is ok, (feels heavy on MSG), it all just comes far too quickly. There's no way to relax and have an evening out, it's all over in 45 mins. View all feedback.
Terrible food. Watery, tasteless, bad presentation, not like ordinary Chinese. Service was far below standard. They had no idea of order to serve. Soup came with duck. They asked to keep warm. Then Entree and Haupt came together. Again asked to keep main warm, then... forget about it.!!! In the price. Never
Declined when taking. The restaurant was very busy picking up - always a good sign. The food was hot and tasty, pleasantly surprised as it had no food from here for a few years. Very cheap.
It has been a while maybe six months since we ate here but the meal was Devine and the service was very good. We have had quite a few take aways from here too. All ready and waiting for us when we arrive.
Four adults and one 2 year old and 11 month old. Very accomodating and helpful. Good attentive service but not over the top. Food was good too and nicely presented- will certainly visit again- not much left!!
We went on a Monday night and found the restaurant a little quiet when we arrived which was surprising given that the food was very good and the service (from a Chinese manager or proprietor and a very charming Indian waitress was excellent. We had...the honey chicken with cashews, sweet and sour fish, and sizzling jade prawns (as our 9 year old said, “they really are sizzling!” as well as the fried rice and everything was good as were the banana split and fried ice cream desserts. I guess the decor is nothing to write home to Mum about and there was nothing about the meal that had a special “wow” factor. Although the strawberry fritters for dessert were very nicely presented! Hence only four stars. As against that, it was pretty good value at $100 for four including desserts, and we had BYO’d wine so we had a very nice and enjoyable night at modest expense.
