Our absolute second living room! Great, fresh, regional cuisine with peep. You know that the kitchen has fun trying things and that is what you taste. There are fantastic drinks in great quality. The new opening of the former Waldgaststätte Rosenhöhe is currently delayed due to Corona. Once the restaurant is open, we will arrive there for a test dinner, so no rating is possible. October 2021 We were finally able to carry out a test visit in the Waldwiese. The premises were renovated and modernized in all inclusive sanitary facilities. The earlier somewhat gloomy main guest room now appears in bright colors (see photo). Everything is brightly clean. From the nice service we were kindly received and asked for the vaccination pass; exemplary! Then we were assigned to a table, as certain tables were already reserved and immediately the beverage and menu card was taken. The menu is not particularly extensive, but all manual work, so we can expect a good quality. Prices are medium to slightly elevated. The order was then made: 1 hot apple wine a 0.5 L to 4.00 € 1 Radeberger Pils a 0.3 L to 2.80 € 1 Schnitzel Wienerart (panierte Schnitzel aus dem Schweinrücken) with roast potatoes, bacon, onions and cucumber salad at 14.50 € 1 calbs plate with green sauce and baked potato tubers at 17.00€ The drinks quickly came to the table and the dishes were served in a reasonable time. Meanwhile, the restaurant began to fill slowly. Guests were also served outdoors on the long terrace. The two services were on Zack. Finally we ordered 1 mousse au chocolat at 6,50 € with two spoons and 1 espresso at 1,00 € and 1 cappuccino at 2,70 €. Payment with Visa is possible. We were very happy with the crowd. The carvings consisted of two large carvings. The meat was very tender in both cases. The three discs table top (about 1.4 cm thick) were extremely delicate and tasty, very good quality. The green sauce as it should be. The homemade potato carp excellent. The carving and the cucumber salad of Omas Art very good; only the roast potatoes, in my wife's opinion, something too saltless. But it is a question of taste and you can always salt it. A Savenger was packed and brought to Haue because not to cope. Overall so highly recommended.
