Sugarfire Smoke House - O'Fallon

I had tried their ribs before and they were really good. I tried the smoked wings and macaroni and cheese this time and they were horrible! The wings were very dry and had no flavor. You could hardly chew them. The macaroni had a bitter taste to it. I would only get the ribs if I ever ate there again. I heard that the potato salad isn’t good either from people that had ordered that as a side. Very disappointed!

I am not from around here. I was raised in the greater Nashville TN area. I absolutely get so discouraged when a restaurant has “fried green tomatoes” and when I ask- Are they Real? No one understands. REAL FGT has cornmeal batter. NOT flour!! Sugar Fire has nailed it!! Delicious, cooked perfect and done correctly!!! Oh and the Carolina Sauce? To.Die.For. Delicious

The entire place is Meh, dude was cool though. Food is mid at best. Edit: Turning off mobile orders on a holiday results in needing $100 just to eat here since they have 0 warning that they turned off online ordering. The lady at the location dismissively said because its a holiday with 0 people in line. While I had to wait 10 minutes for my order which could have simply been picked up. Last time I go here. Shame because its literally the closest thing to me.

Ordered 1/2 slab of ribs with 2 sides along with 4 oz of smoked Turkey. The Broccoli salad was very good. The Cajun Turkey Pasta salad was a little plain. The Ribs were very meaty and tender, but a little dry. The Turkey was very moist and delicious. They have 6 different sauces. St.Louis Sweet, Honey Badger, Texas Hot, Carolina Mustard, White Bbq, and Coffee Bbq. All were good.

I've had catering from here multiple times, but never visited the location. I was a bit confused at first, but after figuring out the menu the food was great. My only complaint was I couldn't get it faster, but hey, what can you do when they get busy.
