Soulard Gyro Deli - O'Fallon

I am a fan of Mediterranean cuisine and especially love gyro fry bowls. I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago and was disappointed by the small portion size. I initially thought it was a mistake so I decided to give it another try, but unfortunately, the portion sizes were consistently small. The food was tasty, but for the price and portion size, I don't think I will be returning. The photo below shows how small the portion was, with only one bite missing, and it cost $10.39! This was for a lunch meal.

The atmosphere is lacking. The service is okay. The food was not impressive. I won't be returning.

The service was terrible as they initially brought me the wrong item and got my order wrong again when I went into the store a second time. The food was subpar at best, and the service was awful. When I asked for a refund so I could leave, I was told that I had to take the food with me even though both gyros were incorrect. I give this restaurant 0 stars and suggest they improve their service.

I have been a longtime patron of this establishment, but today I had the worst encounter with the staff. It was a terrible experience and I do not plan on returning. The cashier definitely needs some training on how to provide excellent customer service, especially when dealing with unhappy customers. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere as a 1 out of 5.

I recently visited this restaurant for a gyro and asked the woman at the counter for a recommendation. She suggested trying the Cali Gyro, and it was fantastic! I highly recommend checking out this place if you haven't already. The service was for takeout, the meal type was lunch, and the price per person was between $10 and $20.
