Mike's Grill Tap - O'Fallon

Had THE BEST wings tonight! Food has been amazing the past few visits! Always friendly service I highly recommend you give them a try for lunch or dinner!!

This place is very sleek and clean and the Philly chease steak was very very good but our nachos came out burnt and the burger was undercooked in the middle. I'm just not hip to having a mini casino in any facility, and then they labeled it as an arcade. Those are slot machines. And this is definitely not a grill and tap, it's a bar with decent food, but it's just a bar.

Maybe it was an off day…but very disappointed. It was our first time in and it may be the last. The bartender was extremely nice and greeted us when we walked in and took our food and drink order relatively quick. After that, we went downhill. We ordered a pretzel as an appetizer for the table, it took over an hour to come out, and it came with our food. We were one of four tables in the restaurant. The bartender apologized for the delay and instructed us it was a new chef. However, 4/5 meals were incorrect. We got two paninis that we’re supposed to be mozzarella, tomato, and basil. They came with American cheese, onions, and a ton of pesto. I got the shredded chicken pepper jack sandwich, it was a full chicken breast (not a deal breaker but it adds to the disappointment). My other friend got a smash patty that was just as thick as the normal burger my other friend got. We didn’t bother to say anything, as we were just happy to get food. We might give this place another chance in a few months after the chef is either better trained or is replaced. It’s got great potential, great atmosphere and tons of TVs to watch games. The execution is just not there.

We were at Mikes and it took 2 hours to get our food. My burger came out 10 minutes before everyone else’s food. It was over cooked and burnt in some places. The burgers here used to be amazing, but now it made me want a good burger from somewhere else. We won’t be back.

It's okay. Not great, but not terrible either! Service was very amicable, atmosphere is really vibrant, especially with a mini arcade in the back of the bar.My gripe is the food. Not Delicious. I'll admit, The Mike's Favorite looked really appealing! But the taste deceived me. I was expecting savory and salty, but I got this prominent sweetness that lingered and kinda ruined my expectations for this burger. Presentation was lovely though! Nachos were decent.
