View all feedback.
The wine tasted delicious. And the small dishes offered were delicious.
For a break snack during a bike tour we looked for something original and found on Tripadvisor Uwe's hedge economy. The ambience is rustic in the positive sense and you are not sitting alone in Corona times. So get in the conversation and enjoy the Vesper and the wine. For friends of the hedge, broom or outdoor industry a recommendation.
If you want to experience original Rheingau, Uwe's Heckewertschaft is a trendy meeting place. The wine is different every year and does not contain any additives I prefer personally. As an open person, you will always find beautiful interlocutors at Uwe. Otherwise I'll join Weekender28.
Uwes hedge value is a real Winkler original. It's just a few weeks during the summer holidays. At Uwe ́s Heurigem you sit in the protected courtyard and in bad weather in the winter garden.
Uwe Bönnhoff operates a typical hedge economy. The cosy courtyard with direct access to the vineyard is open only during the summer holidays. Daily from 16.00h to Sunday from 15.00h. There is only one wine variety in the range - it has produced itself. The courtyard and the Laube are very interesting decorated with toads from the region and many shields from all over the world: KFZ signs as well as interesting local signs give the vineyard, which even has a carpet, a museal character. The menu is typical for a local hedge economy: cheese, sausage and salads come freshly prepared from the kitchen. The quality of the dishes and snacks offered is good. Prices are cheap. It is worth visiting this place, which is constantly well visited. In a museum you would have to pay for admission....
