Even the journey from Radolfzell over the Schi... read more Last night we made it to the Falconera again for a long time and the slightly longer journey for us was worth it. Even the journey from Radolfzell over the Schiener Berg is a small experience and when you turn into Falconera and drive towards the beautiful half-timbered house with a small “enchanted” terrace, you are full of anticipation. There were two of us and we were greeted very friendly by the boss himself from his kitchen as soon as we entered. And when you enter the great and cozy restaurant, you immediately feel like you have arrived. There are two menus on the evening menu (vegetable and meat fish), which can also be combined as desired. We both chose the meat and fish menu with 4 courses, but each of us added a different starter course. A great menu sequence with a wonderful and surprising interplay of aromas (from fresh with an exciting sweet-sour interplay in the starters vitello tonnato and delicacies from the sea, to sweet and salty in the warm intermediate courses caramelized duck liver and curry soup, to Mediterranean grilled monkfish and savory Two kinds of beef). And finally a great dessert combined with pear sorbet, panna cotta and plums made the culinary experience perfect that evening. We were accompanied by 1x wine and 1x non-alcoholic drink, which went very well with the menu. Only the non-alcoholic red wine with the main course (two kinds of beef) couldn't stand up to the great dish. All in all a wonderful evening, with very friendly and calm service. Many thanks to the Falconera team and we would be happy to come back.

The owners are very friendly and take the time to personally ask each guest whether everything went well. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Falconera.
