Not a mainstream tourist destination, just a nice local pasteleria that serves excellent lunches or Prato de Dia. Today we had grilled sardines which were excellent! The day before we had shrimp in a mashup of risotto and carmelized onions, amazing!

They did exactly what we wanted on a toasted cheese and ham croissant. The range from rustic to elegant pastries is wider than many similar cafes and of a much higher standard. We have stopped here several times in our few days in Lisboa attending events up the hill and it’s one place I always come back to when we visit. Well worth a stop and reasonably priced.

Sitio habitual para café a meio da tarde! Atendimento 5* e uma montra de pastelaria de fazer crescer a água na boca!Esplanada super simpática apesar de virada directamente para a estrada!O meu spot de eleição para um café rápido e momento de gordice da semana!
