My husband and I came in and ordered breakfast and two cappuccinos. The food tasted good but they were out of just about everything. The cappuccinos basically just tasted like warm milk; there might have been one shot of espresso. This is definitely coming from a coffee fanatic so if you too are a coffee fanatic, try somewhere else!
We enjoyed stopping here for a quick lunch. My mom and I both had chicken salad sandwiches on sourdough. Very good! And their coffee is excellent.
Drinks are good but VERY sweet, so I always order 1/2 or 1/4 the amount of syrup per drink than usually used to make the lattes. I like the amaretto latte, iced. I don't think the ingredients are measured, so sweetness may vary depending on who makes it. I've had the egg sandwich, which is simple but good. Most things I've tried here are tasty. It's a quaint, cute cafe with local artists' work, which I like. My complaint is that the service is hit or miss. Today's visit was good but I was the only one in there. In the past, the employees have chatted with locals who have stopped in, leaving me waiting for several minutes to be waited on or to even place an order. This irked me so much that I didn't return for quite a while. I know locals are going to be frequent visitors for your shop, but I visit Mexico Beach several times a year and would become a regular customer if I'd had better service all along.
A very cute coffee shop in a convenient location for those staying on Mexico Beach. I visited a few times throughout the week, trying the coffee, breakfast sandwiches and iced lattes. The baked goods were in short supply, but I enjoyed my omelet. Loved the ambience, WiFi and outdoor seating options both on the deck and the patio. The server knew my order by the end of the week! The store also features a jewelry and art display case adding to the coziness. Definitely felt at home.
My all time favorite place to go in Mexico Beach! The food is absolutely outstanding. We tried practically every sandwich and salad on the menu. The chicken salad sandwich is to die for. My 2 kids loved the food. The prices are very inexpensive--they should actually raise the prices in my opinion. Friday afternoon they had live music, which was phenomenal, and they served wine and beer. It was the best time we had in Mexico Beach the entire week we were there. We have been visiting MB for years and this is by far the best place and best service we have ever rec'd. The owner, Shawna, is the friendliest person I have ever met in Mexico Beach. MB is not known for friendly people so she really stands out--she's so sweet and accommodating. If you go and don't like it, I will be shocked.
