Cork Pig Tavern - Odessa

Good evening, everyone. I’ve been to Cork Pig countless times, and up until now, I’ve never had anything negative to say. However, today the service was quite disappointing. Our waiter forgot to provide silverware, we had to repeatedly ask the busboy for water refills, and we never even got to place an order for a second round of drinks. We ordered a filet mignon well-done but received it rare instead. I also ordered a house salad on the side, but the lettuce was wilted and the avocado was rock hard. I usually don’t like to complain, but if there was ever a time to voice concerns, it would have been today. However, I do believe in sharing my experiences through reviews. On a positive note, the tres leches cake is a definite must-try, but unfortunately, due to the lack of service, we couldn’t order one today.

I visited this restaurant with some colleagues, and it was bustling with activity. I highly recommend making a reservation, as the food is absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the cuisine does not disappoint. The pizzas were all delicious, featuring a wonderful combination of a soft yet crispy crust, and the pork ribs were exceptional.

One of the best restaurants in Odessa! I highly recommend starting with the trio dip as an appetizer, along with the cornbread deviled eggs. For the main course, I always go for the double chop while my wife opts for the pecan trout. And for dessert, definitely try the tres leches or the chocolate pot de crème!

Amazing food and drinks. The salad was fresh and the avocados were just right and the croutons were soft but still a bit crunchy so as not to cut up your mouth. The beef rib and pork ribs were delicious and a good serving portion. The Tall City brewing Co. beer named Haboob Hefeweizen was smooth and top off with a shot of Auchentoshan Scotch $20) made my meal excellent.

So good! I traveled to TX from NY for work. Looked this place up before leaving and EVERYONE I spoke to in Odessa recommended it! The staff was fun and friendly and recommended great drinks and food options. If I?m back in Odessa again I will definitely be stopping by!
